The Story Behind the Work

Deep Blue Shore explores the meeting of deep water and a changing shoreline. Rich cobalt glaze meets pale, grainy textures along an uneven edge, recalling sand and foam left by a retreating tide. Hand-applied glaze and high-temperature firing shape the final surface, preserving the feeling of a coast that never stays exactly the same.
